Happy 2025!

A new year brings new opportunities to come together and celebrate our shared passion for Mercedes-Benz. As we embark on another exciting year, I want to take a moment to reflect on some recent changes within our club.

As I mentioned in our previous issue, our board has undergone a few transitions. Rubin Howard has stepped down to pursue his career, and we extend our gratitude for his contributions and dedication to our club. I am honored to step into the role of President, and I am thrilled to announce that Sam Kamber has taken on my previous position as Vice President. I’d also like to extend a warm welcome to our newest board and committee members: Abel Beck, Austin Hoffer, and Marissa Hegyesi. Their enthusiasm and expertise will undoubtedly help drive our club forward.

We have an exciting lineup of events ahead, and I encourage you to visit our website for full details and to sign up. Here’s a glimpse of what’s coming up:

• Halcyon Cars & Coffee Meet-ups – Hosted by the MB Experience by RBM of Alpharetta, these gatherings take place on the first Saturday of each month. The next event is on February 1st, 2025.
• MotoEscape Tour – Join us for a tour of their Atlanta facility on February 8th, 2025.
• Virtual Meeting – HPDE 101: The Tech Inspection Explained – Learn about vehicle inspections required for High Performance Driving on February 19th, 2025.
• Garland Mountain Clay Shoot – Test your skills and enjoy a great day out on February 22nd, 2025.
• Amelia Island Concours – A weekend of automotive excellence on March 8th, 2025.
• Braves Tour of Truist Park – Explore the home of the Braves on March 15th, 2025.
