Autumn Trails - Winnsboro Drive - Saturday, October 26, 2024
We had a great turn out for the 66th Annual Autumn Trails Parade in Winnsboro, TX. Sixteen folks and eight cars participated this year. The parade is the ending of a month-long event that includes a celebration of agricultural events, cattle, horses, and a rodeo. Kings and queens from the community are chosen and cars with a car show and the final parade. The Dallas Model A club was a part of the beginning of the event. The fun is being in the parade and throwing candy to the kids along the parade route. They love our club because we have a lot of candy, we have been told that the Model A Club and our club have the most and the best candy. After the parade we met for lunch at the Barrel House Bar and Grille, a new restaurant in Winnsboro. The food was good, the time spent with friends was great, and the weather was perfect for the event. What could be better than being in a Mercedes convertible and throwing candy to kids on a perfect morning. Put it on your calendar for next October!
