Martin's BBQ Saturday, 1/25/25

Saturday, January 25th, we kicked off the new year at Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint for our 2nd Annual Members' Meeting and Movie Night.

The BBQ was excellent as always, and Martin's always accommodates with a free room and video setup.

Our members had a chance to discuss and select some of the events they would like to see on our 2025 calendar and we hope to have a tentative schedule out soon.

We will include some events that we hope to make Annual Events - the Derby Party at Tony York’s; of course the Concours d’Elegance in August (ON JULY 20) in Lexington, Kentucky; and the Holiday Party at Hursthborne Country Club, confirmed for Sunday, December 7th.

Finally, we watched a 1976 film, " C'etiat un Rendez-vous," called the Holy Grail of Auto racing! We also saw "The Truth about the Shooting of 'C-etiat un Rendez-vous,' and "' C'etiat un Rendez-vous,' the Original Street Racing Video - LIVE AND LET DRIVE. '"

We had such a nice evening that we even forgot to take pictures!

Our next event will be February 8th, in Midway, Kentucky. We only recently heard about the event, so it is not an RSVP event. It is the Midway Chocolate Stroll, and sounds fun ... and fattening!
