2025 April 26 Tony York's Derby Party

Saturday, April 26th, the Bluegrass Stars Chapter celebrated our 2nd Annual Derby Party at Tony York’s in Glendale, Kentucky.

We were a smaller group than last year, but that did not dampen the fun!

Tony prepared a lovely meal for us, in a beautifully set private room.

Tony was on hand of course to give us the update on what's happening in Glendale.

And Jasmine was there again, before she soon heads off to medical school - she is such a special young lady!

We has a small field for our own "Run for the Roses!" And the winner by a mile was Sweetie Peatty, owned by long time member, Vic Gilliland. A close second was a horse owned by Dru and Cathy Martin, and they won a beautiful Special Derby Edition Woodford Bourbon bottle, with beautiful blue lights inside where the Bourbon used to be! I'm sure it will be a treasured family keepsake for years to come.
